I like the design of all windows phones, and the minimum features are good, but I wasn’t “wow’d” by any phone. Hopefully, the phones are more impressive in person and the software blows me away.
Definitely going to purchase one – probably the Dell Venue Pro
I had a chance to use one of these phones last night and was blown away! The photos on the web do not do this phone justice. I was very impressed with the features, quality and speed within the apps that I was able to use. The photo quality is better than the iPhone, the touch screen is as good as the iPhone, the video quality is outstanding, the sound was very clear. I’m very interested in seeing how this phone takes off and will probably upgrade to the HTC HD phone or the HTC 7 in the near future.
David,
Thanks for letting us know what you experienced with the phone(s). I’m excited to see things take off too.
I have it, I love it. I bought the Samsung which has a beautiful screen and glides smoothly through the customized panels. It is very intuitive and since I’ve used it for five days, the battery life has been incredibly long with no issues with calls dropping. Originally I was just happy to upgrade a phone and had NO idea that I be so thrilled with the features, feel and look. Can’t say enough good about it. Now I’m thinking an x-box is in my future. I don’t know all the details about how to use it from my phone but I’ll depend on Santa to help.
Thanks for stopping by Kim. Your review of the Windows Phone is pretty much what we’ve been hearing from everyone. Thanks for sharing your experience.
is the graphics of game nice than android.i actually want it for gaming. help me out
I can’t say that I’m impressed with any of the Windows Phone’s, but they are all decent. I just hoped that they would come with more impressive hardware. I’ve yet to check out the OS, so I my opinion of the phone could flip a 180.
Watson, thanks for stopping by. I can’t say I was overly impressed with the hardware many of the phones are equipped with, but a lot of the phones have 1 or 2 impressive features and all of the phones are high quality. I think you’ll enjoy the OS.
i think it will be the best. the first thing that i am going to buy
I purchased the Samsung Focus 3 weeks ago and have to say I just love it!. I have owned the I-phone 2G, 3GS and the I-Phone 4, but now realize that Windows 7 Phone will soon be the leader in the Smart Phone Market. I love the Windows OS, the kick butt Qualcomm Chipset and the fresh innovation appearance of this fine. Thumbs way up!. Go check it out..
Rivak,
thanks for stopping by and sharing your review. I just purchased the Dell Venue Pro (waiting for it to come) and am stoked to hear all these great reviews from actual owners. It’s one thing to read reviews from tech bloggers, but hearing that consumers love the new Windows Phone is much more valuable.
I bought a Samsung Focus for my wife for Christmas and was excited to find “buy one, get one free” at ATT as I’d been waiting for Phone 7 for a year. The UI is amazing…smooth, intuative and beautiful to look at. When I dug deeper though I find this phone won’t work for me. No local sync for my Outlook nor a transparent sync through Windows Live, no cut and paste, no “notes”, no “tasks”. Contacts won’t display a business name nor will search find a business name if there’s a person’s name included in the file..(example: “Big Sky Trucking (Bob) in Outlook. Only “Bob” displays in Phone 7.) My wife and daughter are loving their phones. I’m still waiting.
great phone…..but the smart phone is smarter than i am…..too much to handle
